Why we exist and why knowledge sharing
(Information – >knowledge –> decision making –> action ->competitive advantage)
Based on the Statistics SA quarterly labour review, individuals that have acquired a higher certification in education stand a better chance of being employed and earning a higher income.
We gain knowledge through gathering information from books, education institutions, newspapers, etc. Currently the internet has allowed us to search and obtain information from all over the world at our fingertips.
To simplify education to its basic form, it is the sharing of information by those with the required knowledge to individuals that are willing to pay the price and complete an assessment to acquire a qualification / certification. This certificate is a bargaining tool which allows those who have acquired it to take advantage of the opportunities available.
With all that said not everyone can afford obtaining information/education and no one person can know everything or individually solve societal problems (Prof. F.A Hayek- Nobel Laureate recipient, The Use of Knowledge in Society, 1945). The basis of Mothusi Knowledge Centre is to consolidate information collected, make it easy to understand to the average man on the street and allow it to be freely accessible and available. By so doing, we will continuously support aspiring and existing entrepreneurs and individuals that seek to empower themselves and make a success of their chosen career path.
Through information sharing new enterprise opportunities and employment will be created which will increase the output of the economy, thereby reducing the unemployment.
